It is not very often one gets to see films from Rajinikanth. There are Heroes. There are Super Heroes. But there is only one Rajinikanth. It is a pretty apt saying considering the mass following Superstar Rajinikanth has developed through the years. And as a result every film of his ends up setting box office records without fail.

Now, it must be said that in addition to setting box office records, his films do push the boundaries of Indian cinema. Especially when it comes to the special effects. Kochadaiiyaan is no different and it is the first performance capturing motion picture in India. It is rumored that the entire special effects team from Avatar is involved in this project. There are great expectations of this project and come November 10th, we will see if the finished product lives up to the hype. For now, they have just released a teaser of the film which can be viewed below.
