Smartphone Wars! A cheat sheet of all the flagship smartphones.

Lately, we have been doing constant reviews of the most cutting edge smartphones in the market. With so many new phones constantly entering the market, it is hard to keep track of all of them and their specs especially if you are in the market looking for a new phone. Recently we looked the HTC One X, Motorola DROID RAZR, Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy S II or the Nokia Lumia 800 and then realized we haven't seen a side by side spec comparison of all these phones. For good measure, we took all the flagship phones (at least the ones that we felt are the flagships) currently in the market and have come up with a comparison for you below. If you are looking for a top of the line smartphone, we hope this little cheatsheet will come in handy. NOTE: We did not take price into factor for the purposes of this comparison simply because these phones don't have a uniform price across the world. We also did not include capabilities such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS etc. since these have pretty much become standard in all the smartphones. The values highlighted in red are the best in that segment. And another word of caution, when it comes to batteries, it is very hard to assume the phone that has the highest capacity gives you the most battery life. It is all dependent on what you use your phone for and how long you use it. Click on the image below.

If you feel we have left out any phone out of the chart that you think qualifies as a flagship phone, please let us know and we will check it out.

From our perspective here is the list of current leaders in the respective categories (based on our usage):
  1. Processor: HTC One X
  2. Display: Tie between the HTC One X, Samsung Galaxy Note and Apple iPhone 4S
  3. Camera: Tie between the HTC One X and Apple iPhone 4S
  4. Battery Life: Nokia Lumia
  5. Build Quality: Motorola DROID RAZR
  6. Price: Motorola DROID RAZR
We'll keep visiting this list as time goes on especially considering we are just starting to see the updated models being released for this year.
