It has happened to the best of us. You are working on a spreadsheet (or word document) late one night, you save your file a couple of times, and then it hits you... the blue screen of death! Your frustration knows no bounds when you reboot your machine only to find out that your file has been corrupted and you can't even open it. Show of hands if that has happened to you before.
Yes Microsoft Office comes with the document recovery feature, but it can't recover all files. If you can't open the file in the first place, it kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it? We have a solution for that. It is called OfficeFIX and it is amazing how simple yet effective it is to use. The application by Cimaware Software works on Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook and Word documents. All you have to do is:
- Install: Install the program.
- Recover: Select (either through the dialog box or drag and drop the file into the OfficeFix window) and recover your file.
- Save: Save your recovered file to your computer.
It doesn't get simpler than this. They also have a software that you can use to recover photos you might have deleted (on purpose or by mistake) from any digital camera in any format. Each camera saves the photos in a different format, and DeleteFIX Photo can recover deleted photos from all of them, including specific formats for professional cameras from every brand, such as Canon, Olympus, Pentax and others.
Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed. We have included a demo video of DeleteFix below.
