Models cars and display cases

I've been collecting model cars for as long as I can remember. They used to be the 1:64 scale versions of the real deal. One day while walking around Pasadena, I happened to come across an AUTOart store. They make some of the most detailed models I have seen. You can check out their site at http://www.autoartmodels.com/en/. Anyway, I couldn't resist once I walked into that store. The inner child in me just jumped out and I had to pick out a few models. The collection is larger now and I need to find additional places to keep these models!

Another thing I was really particular about was how to display these models. They are so good looking (and not cheap I might add) and warrant their own center piece if you will. After a lot of digging around I was able to find the perfect solution from IKEA. The Bertby display case just looks as though it was built just for this purpose. Believe it or not, the case is cheaper than the cost of a single model car!

Now that's a match made in heaven.
